SMASH Episode 7.

„The first training and a jump to the library“

The day after last episode, 9:30 in the morning, Ash preparing for breakfast. Luffy, Yugi and Ichigo come in.

Luffy: Hey Ash, whatcha doing?

Ash: What does it look like? I’m doing breakfast for you all. (Luffy and Yugi looking nervously at each other)

Ichigo: Yesterday we had a deal with Jayden and Naruto. Whoever gets home last, does the breakfast.

Ash: (irritated) At least I haven't been cheating.

Ichigo: Yeah, right. Sorry.

Ash: Well, I like cooking. (Looking at Pikachu) Go wake them up buddy.

Pikachu: Pika-pi! (Goes to all the sleepyheads rooms and strikes them gently. Then comes back to the kitchen with a smile on his face)

Luffy: (Digging in his food) At last. If you lingered any longer you would have nothing left to eat.

Yugi: Right. Ash had to wake up earlier and make breakfast for you and you still rant about being disturbed.

Yoh, Naruto and Jayden: Sorry Ash.

Ash: Yeah, keep choking, we’ve got a training session in an hour.

Luffy: I’m going with you! Still nothing fancy to do here.

Yugi: I’m not coming. I go with Yoh to the library to get a few rolls to read.

Yoh: (surprised) What am I to do there?

Yugi: Well, I can’t go alone. What if the ANBU guys spot me?

Yoh: Ughh, so you need backup in case of a fight.

Yugi: You guessed right.

Ash: OK then. Go on with the pancakes, they will cool down soon.

All: OK!

One hour later, training field, Kakashi sitting on a trunk and reading a book, the pack approaches.

Naruto: We’re ready Kakashi-sensei.

Kakashi:  (raising his head) On time? That’s something new.

Ash: What do we start with?

Kakashi: Taijutsu.

The same time, in the library

Yoh: Wow, I’ve never seen such a huge collection of books.

Yugi: See? You learned something new already.

Yoh: So, what is it you’re after?

Yugi: Something to shed a light on this world. You go, do what you wish.

Yoh: OK! (dissolves into the Ninja techniques section) What can I find here? (bumping into someone) Ooops, sorry didn’t see you. (helps her standing up)

Unknown Voice: I’m fine. Hey, are you a newbie?

Yoh: I guess so. I’m Yoh Asakura.

Ino: Hi Yoh. I’m Ino. What are you doing here?

Yoh: Well, I’m nuts over ninjas, wanted to find something out ‘bout their fighting techniques.

Ino: Oooh, and which element are you interested in?

Yoh: What is an element?

Ino: You see, there are 5 main Ninja Elements: Water, Thunder, Earth, Fire and Wind. Each of them has its special powers, abilities but drawbacks as well.

Yoh: I get it… Maybe the Earth Element then.

Ino: Follow me, I’ll show you… something.

Yoh: After you (grinning)

Back to Yugi

Yugi: Hmm… (staring at a book) No, I need something else. (puts the book aside and turns toward second bookcase) I know you’re there, show yourself!

Unknown Voice: Well, I was doing fine till now.

Yugi: You were. But as a matter of fact, I have the ability to sense every living creature around me. It also concerns your friend who is with Yoh at the moment.

Shikamaru: You’ve got me now. By the way, I’m Shikamaru Nara and I’m here to keep an eye on you.

Yugi: That’s alright with me. I’m Yugi Muto. Maybe you can help me find suitable books then.

Shikamaru: What are you after?...

Back to the training. Ichigo trains swordsmanship, Naruto practices Wiseman mode, Luffy sleeps under a tree and Ash&Jayden have a match against Kakashi who uses Sharingan. Jayden takes on with Yubel Eyes.

Jayden: It can’t hurt me!

Ash: Now Buizel! Sound Bomb! (Kakashi dodges)

Kakashi: Gooood, What about this? Raiton: Raikiri! (Ash escapes but Jayden is hit and thrown into water) Yayden!

Jayden: (in the water) “Wait… Fire, Wind, Earth… it’s time for Water!” (The next blank card begins to glow) “Transformation!” (jumps out of the water) Elemental Hero Bubbleman! Water Shot! (strikes Kakashi, who plows into a tree. An ANBU guy falls off a branch.

Kakashi: Are you tracking them? (looking at ANBU)

ANBU: N-n-n-ooo. I was only to bring a message to guys called Luffy and Yugi, that Lady Hokage wants to see them.

Luffy: (Stands up, primping his hat) Finally, something for me. I’ll get Yugi. (disappears)
